Exporting Consignments to CSV (Today’s List – Advanced)
Purpose
The Export to CSV feature allows users to download a structured report of consignments from Today’s List (Advanced) into a CSV file. This is useful for reporting, reconciliation, auditing, data analysis, or sharing consignment details with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Why Export to CSV?
Exporting consignments provides you with a flexible dataset that can be opened and edited in tools such as Excel or Google Sheets. It enables you to:
- Review large volumes of consignments quickly
- Perform sorting, filtering, and calculations
- Share shipment data outside of Cario
- Support reconciliation, reporting, or operational reviews
How to Export Consignments to CSV
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Navigate to Consignments in the left-hand menu.
- Click on Today’s List (Advanced).
- Ensure the correct Customer is selected at the top of the screen.
- Apply any filters if required (date range, service, carrier, status, etc.).
- Click the Export to CSV icon located at the top-right of the screen.

- The system will generate and download a CSV file to your computer.

- Open the downloaded file using Excel or another spreadsheet application.

What’s Included in the Exported CSV
The exported file contains key consignment-level information, including (but not limited to):
- Connote Number
- Customer
- Reference
- Pickup Address
- Delivery Address
- Dispatch Date
- Service Name
- Quantity
- Weight
- Volume
- Status
- Hazardous Materials indicator
This format allows the data to be easily reviewed, modified, or reused for reporting purposes.
Helpful Notes
- The export reflects only the consignments currently visible based on your selected filters.
- Always confirm the correct customer is selected before exporting.
- CSV files can be re-saved, shared, or imported into other systems as required.
